Sleeping Beauty

At the check-out in Wal-Mart, Hannah Ruth fell asleep. The boys went over to KFC for some American food (it is attached to the Wal-Mart) and I sat with her. Rick and I ate Chinese food with Hannah Ruth in the hotel after we returned. She didn't "get her nap out," so she is taking a long afternoon nap now. Tomorrow we are going to FengCheng to see the babies' finding places. We are not allowed to go to the orphanage. Our guide told us that tomorrow we will have Pizza Hut. It will be a big day and a lot of bus riding. Thursday we will tour Nanchang city to get a little more of the local flavor.

Bye for now!

Lori,
The photos of Hannah Ruth in your arms are so beautiful. You can tell instantly that is where she belongs, surronded by your arms and the love of her family.

Dear Culps, What an awesome gift to all of us and Hannah Ruth...a diary of her birth. Thanks so much for sharing Hannah Ruth's story. We will continue to pray for good health, saftey and for the house in Wendover to sell.
Love to each of you, and a BIG smooch for Hannah Ruth. We too have a new daughter. Luiza Santos moved in with us on Friday. She is an exchange student from Brazil.
She has been sleeping through the night...hee..hee Ann Blair Huffman

How absolutely precious!! Each time I visit your blog I am teary eyed with graditude and pride.
This morning I stumbled on a quote from Leanne Payne. "The infant comes to light as a person in the light of a mother's countenance." That immediately brought to mind the "Sleeping Beauty" photo. How thrilling that each of you has been obedient to the voice of the Lord and He has brought Hannah Ruth forth "for such a time as this."
With unceasing love and prayers,
Mama Dot

What a cutie!!! Make sure the boys try the shaker chicken at KFC - it's a bit spicier - okay a lot spicier as it's got wasabe - but you can't find it here in the states! Jade LOVED the mashed potatoes from KFC! Have fun, enjoy your time in Nanchang! You're in our thoughts!
