Chinese New Year celebration 2

This is our second CNY celebration on February 16. We had gone to Memphis that morning to tell our adoption story at a seminar put on by our agency, AWAA. We came back to the celebration put on by another group of moms who also run a Chinese cultural school. This celebration was also lots of fun. We missed the traditional dragon dance, but arrived in time for a Chinese snack which was a lot of food! The children then played and did crafts. Hannah Ruth's favorite areas were the craft area with large Chinese rubber stamps and the younger children play area. She loved playing in the balls, especially when Richmond (Di Di) would play with her. She did not want to leave! I did not change her into her Chinese dress. I just left on her "traveling" clothes. She was wearing black boots that didn't make it into the pictures, but she was "styling."
